I use both windows and linux on a daily basis.

Whether one likes a particular operating system such as Microsoft Windows or not, one is often forced to use it. It can however be customized with a range of good free software. See the windows software page for recommended software.

I really enjoy using Linux. My first acquintance with linux was RedHat 4.2. Since then I have moved through various versions from RedHat. It tends to rock-solid systems that does not require latest versions of hardware to run properly as workstations or small servers. It is very customisable and it allows to use a wide variety of keyboard shortcuts making it an excellent tool for people that desires a minimal use of the mouse. The linux software page has a lot in common with the windows software page as I tend to use the same programs as it minimises the transition between the systems.
